Strengthening Collaboration Through a Cybersecurity Table Top Exercise

Toronto, Ontario Jun 7, 2024 (Issuewire.com) – siberX is thrilled to announce the upcoming Operation: Defend the North, a first-of-its-kind cybersecurity readiness exercise. This three-day cyber breach simulation event will take place in Toronto from June 11 to 13, 2024, and is designed to strengthen Canada’s cybersecurity readiness and response strategies.

This event will bring together Public and Private sector stakeholders along with the Canadian Cybersecurity community to discuss how their organizations would respond to a cyber attack. “We are thrilled to host this Cybersecurity Readiness Exercise, providing a platform for industry leaders and professionals to come together and enhance their cybersecurity preparedness,” said Mahdi Raza, Founder of siberX. “With cyber threats evolving rapidly, events like this are crucial for organizations to test their response strategies and strengthen their defences.”

“The critical importance of continuously strengthening cybersecurity readiness and response strategies cannot be stressed enough,” said Nadir Izrael, CTO and Co-Founder of Armis. “We’re honoured to participate in Operation: Defend the North to share our expertise on how Canada’s public and private sector can protect the entire attack surface and manage their cyber risk exposure. We look forward to collaborating and knowledge-sharing with the Canadian cybersecurity community at this event.”

“With cybersecurity becoming more important than ever in today’s changing landscape, we are excited to participate in Operation: Defend the North. This unique simulation highlights the critical necessity for organizations to implement proactive and strategic security measures,” said Julius Azarcon, Vice President, Services at CDW Canada. “We look forward to contributing to the discussion, sharing CDW’s expertise in defence strategies and cyber resilience, and equipping stakeholders with the knowledge to navigate and combat cyber threats.”
